Big hair and MC Hammer break aways’ thankfully have not made their rounds back on the runway circuit, however, eighties rock and dance music are makeing a second coming thanks to, and, amongst a new younger audience. Along with the stylish music that set off the dance floors during 1985 -Bboying is back! What was once outdated and replaced by house music, is popularized once again in both fashion and in the clubs. And ,this time it’s crossed over and back around the world. Our original documentary “The Way OfThe Bboy” is helping to establish this phenomenon as it airs on MTV 2′s “Sucker Free” starting on June 2nd for three weeks at 8pm EST. Following the trendsetting movement, Ohmtv.com, a large mobile distributor in Europe, will air mobisodes in France, Spain, Germany and as far away as Siberia. It will also continue on rotation through MTV2′s special Sucker Free Sundays
Popularized by “So You Think You Can Dance“, and “America’s Dance Crew” which are among several reality competition shows, exhibiting Bboying…, this form of expression called BBOY is taking over the television airways and through its original grass roots: Washington Square Park. Continueing the hype, Bboys are once again circulating at clubs creating new moves hoping to create new versions of air flares to old and new beats. Curiousity and excitement cannot be contained.
