Any Given Tuesday in Brooklyn is a short Documentary that takes place on Election Day in Brooklyn. The film documents how Tuesday November 4th 2008 unfolded in the Fort Greene and Bed Stuy neighborhoods as well as the subsequent celebrations to Barack Obama’s breathtaking victory! Our goal was to bring you the amazing energy and experience that spread through Brooklyn on that historic day.
This documentary features interviews with voters outside the polls, Brooklyn residents in the street, as well as different representatives from the Brooklyn for Barack headquarters in Bed Stuy and the Barack Phone Bank in Fort Greene. Exclusive images from the amazing Election block party that took place at New York’s only South African restaurant Madiba will transport you on the scene and make you live (or relive) the explosive joy that took the street by storm as the results were announced.
This short documentary is produced by Caid Productions and distributed for free to the community, friends, family and business associates during this holiday season. It is our gift to the community. The film will not be sold and it is for that reason that we decided to put it online for all to see and enjoy. We believe it is a small piece of American History and we’re proud to have documented it on film.
Caid Productions wishes you a wonderful 2009! Yes we will!
